Vincent Wu, DO, comes to EliteCare Health Centers from completing his residency in family medicine at HA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education program at St. Petersburg General Hospital. While in residency he trained in various specialties including internal medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, wound care, pulmonology, nephrology, dermatology, infectious diseases general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN and pediatrics.

Dr. Wu received his medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a general biology major and public health minor from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.


Dr. Wu’s interests are in preventative medicine and geriatric care. Throughout his education Dr. Wu was engaged in a variety of leadership positions. He was a member of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and the Utilization Management Committee at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Dr. Wu also held the title of historian for St. Petersburg General Hospital residency class and was treasurer of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club while at Midwestern University.

Throughout his education he attended several osteopathic conferences. Dr. Wu is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and he holds the following certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

His outside interests are quite varied. Dr. Wu enjoys dance, photography and videography, tennis, and volleyball.
