Miguel A. Fana, MD, has been practicing medicine since 1995. He completed internships and a residency in internal medicine at the renowned New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens in Flushing, New York, where he was appointed Chief Medical Resident. While at New York Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Fana also served as an emergency medicine attending physician and junior teaching attending physician. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995 from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra. Dr. Fana also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish literature from Colegio Eugenio Maria de Hostos in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Fana is fluent in Spanish and English.

Dr, Fana is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
