Dr. Jennifer Laman, DO, is a dedicated family medicine specialist with more than 11 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Sciences and Exercise Physiology from Florida State University and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, Florida. She then completed her residency in family medicine at Largo Medical Center and joined EliteCare Health Centers.

Dr. Laman's accomplishments in her current medical career are truly remarkable. She was named Chief Resident of Family Medicine and Chief Administrative Resident in Largo Medical Center for her leadership abilities. In 2011-2012, she was also named Resident of the Year. In 2006, she was named Business Woman of the Year Award by the Business Advisory Council, and in subsequent years, she received the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association Student Award (FOMA), the FOMA Seltzer and Legislative Award, and the FMLA Student Leadership Award.

Dr. Laman is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians' Florida Society.

As an osteopathic physician, she is committed to treating each patient as a "whole" person. Dr. Laman believes in patient education and wellness promotion, and she encourages patients to participate in their medical care. Her management philosophy is based on the patient/physician relationship as a partnership. "I would consider it a privilege to get to know you and your family and my honor to take care of you," she says.

Dr. Laman is married to Chris, an anesthesiologist at Trinity Medical Center and Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
